About Hotel Callista

About the Hotel & Owners

Built around 1827 and once belonging to industrialist and entrepreneur John Fox Slater, this once-upon-a-time mansion in downtown Norwich is now an inviting boutique hotel.

The hospitality profession has been our family business for nearly three decades, and the industry comes as second nature. The opportunity to open this grand hotel took vision and a lot of effort to make our dream come true. We hope you enjoy the history of this building, and we welcome you to stay with us as we add another chapter to this beautiful building’s legacy.

“We’ve put our heart and soul into Hotel Callista and look forward to providing unforgettable experiences and warm memories for each guest that comes through our doors.”
